After independence in 1947, India could not fulfill the Indian dreams in many ways. India is categorized as DEVELOPING COUNTRY. Recently our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi mentioned during his speech that developing country is another name of PICHRE DESH .
Before British Rule Indian subcontinent was also ruled by Mughal Raj. Slavery for such a long period has lowered our moral in a way that we can not work without a strict administrator. Or colonial country will always remain a developing countries only.

no , never
ReplyDeleteIndia will be a Super Power and sociologically speaking yes. Reasons are following:
ReplyDelete1. Indian science, arts, culture, traditions evolved over a period that was some thousands years.
2. Contemporary developments happened across the globe.
3. Indian story got mixed up, decimated apprx 2000 years ago.
4. It has sustained itself although getting blended in between.
5. The GDP standard is a western concept. Still it shows an upward trend for India.
6. Although there is huge gap in defence budgets, GDP/unit figures. Still, Indian numbers are impressive compared to 1947.
7. USSR, Chekoslovakia, Afghanistan, East Pakistan, Iraq, Syria got stories rewritten in the recent memories. There is a famous 'balkanisation of India' doctrine as once espoused by US politician Jean Kirkpatrick. The Indian reselience proved Kirkpatrick wrong and their 'support oil rich middle east asian dictatorship' policy fell flat on its face.
8. India joining big league BRIC forum will redefine economic boundaries.
9. ISIS proliferation is a major worry for America. This Frankenstein is their creation and they are plainly stupefied to control it.
10. 'Make in India' and redefining investment policy is already showing results.
11. India not appreciating Rupee against USD will make life tough for US exports to India.
12. The future of world economics is going to be under the ocean and in the space. In these two sectors, India is amongst the developed fraternity.
13. Nuclear energy will resolve all energy shortfalls.
